The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement gather 70 Scouts Associations in 40 Countries, delivering Scouting to close to 1,8 Millions thanks to the engagement of more than 300 000 volunteers. The Mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society. Being a volunteers-lead organisation, the European Scout region and its members are strongly engaged to support a better volunteering policy environment in Europe.
