IVY2026 EU Action Forum
The afternoon proceeded with an IVY2026 EU Action Forum Roundtable Discussion moderated by Lejla Šehić Relić, CEV President, involving the IVY2026 National Focal Points together with the CEV Board members and other invited stakeholders to plan the next steps for collective action in the frame of IVY2026 for the European Union. As background information in advance of the meeting, participants were provided with the following documents:
Next steps for the Action Forum include the development of the first State of European Volunteering Report (SVER), an IVY2026 MEP statement and a European Response to the Global Call to Action.

On Thursday 26th February the IVY 2026 EU Action Forum was launched in the European Parliament. The event was hosted by MEP Catarina Vieira (Greens, NL) and organised in collaboration with the European Lotteries. It brought together the IVY2026 National Focal Points from Belgium, France, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Spain, Croatia and Latvia sharing their IVY2026 plans and highlighted the specific role of national lotteries for society, via funding of good causes that should be better recognised in discussions at the European level. We were honoured with interventions from MEP Katarina Barley (S&D, DE, EP VP for Civil Society), MEP Bogdan Zdrojewski (EPP, PL, Vice-Chair CULT Committee), MEP Sergey Lagodinsky (Greens, DE, ECBA Rapporteur), MEP Grégory Allione (Renew, FR), Commissioner Glenn Micallef (European Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport), Sandra Koch (United Nations Volunteers), Christine Weil (SALTO European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre), Piet Van Baeveghem, European Lotteries, Blandine Delprat, Red Cross EU Office, Carlotta Besozzi, Civil Society Europe, MEP Lena Schilling, (Greens, AT) & Lejla Šehić Relić, Centre for European Volunteering.
