Towards Inclusion in Volunteer Involving Research: New Ways of Publishing
On 25 November 2025 we held an online public launch of the Voluntaris Special Issue “Contemporary Volunteering Study and Research in Europe with 30 participants.
This innovative and unique open access publication is the result of the collaborative efforts of more than 25 researchers and practitioners convened by the Centre for European Volunteering (CEV), co-financed by the EU Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values fund (CERV). It plots a comprehensive and inclusive map of volunteering studies and research in Europe. The selected topics: Motivation; Infrastructure; Law; Impact Measurement; and Politics, cover both traditional and new aspects of volunteer involvement. The launch event included short presentations from editors and authors and space for questions and discussions. Find the agenda here.
