About the project

REAL - Resilience, Empowerment, and Active Leadership aims to empower community leaders, CSO representatives, volunteer managers, and decision-makers across six European countries with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to promote sustainable growth, social cohesion, and active engagement, thereby enhancing the resilience of European communities.

The specific objectives of the project are to:

• Identify barriers and study successful community resilience models, highlighting the roles of different stakeholders, to create educational resources and policy recommendations for promoting resilience through active engagement in the EU.

• Enhance the skills of community leaders, CSO representatives, and volunteer managers by offering training programs and educational materials on leadership, engagement strategies, and resilience planning.

• Provide digital tools for community leaders, CSO representatives, and volunteer managers to create personalised learning paths and share knowledge and experiences through international networking.

• Raise awareness about the importance of active engagement in strengthening community resilience across the European Union.
