In 2024 CEV produced and shared an updated “European Volunteering Ecosystem” image. The previous edition produced in 2018 was found to be a successful, succinct, and versatile method to share an overview of the volunteering ecosystem in Europe, thereby raising awareness and generating conversation on the trends, developments, and important contributions in the sector. The 2024 Ecosystem image was developed to incorporate the developments and changes which have impacted volunteering, and more widely European Civic engagement, since 2018, while strengthening the link between the ecosystem and Equality, Rights, and Values in Europe.
