CEV announces the jury of  European Volunteering Capital 2021 Competition:

  • Cristina Rigman, CEV President

  • Isabel Caño, European Economic and Social Committee Vice-President

  • Jaroslav Polaček, Košice Mayor, European Volunteering Capital 2019

  • Matteo Bianchi, Committee of the Regions

  • Mary Ann Hennessey, Council of Europe

  • Domenec Ruiz Devesa Member of European Parliament

  • Begoña Barberá García, Iberdrola Social Projects Manager, Employee Volunteering Europea Network (EVEN)

  • Jutta Koenig-Georgiades, European Commission Europe for Citizens Programme

Berlin (Germany), and Strovolos (Cyprus) received their European Volunteering Capital 2021 Candidate Certificates in July.  They join the unique European Volunteering Candidates Community (EVCCC) with other like-minded public authorities, strengthening, inspiring and celebrating volunteering and solidarity in Europe.  

CEV announces the candidate municipalities for the European Volunteering Capital 2021!

The two candidate municipalities for European Volunteering Capital 2021 title are:

Berlin (Germany) & Strovolos (Cyprus).

The deadline for applications for the European Volunteering Capital 2020 was on 11 June 2019. The information provided in the application form and video will count as 75% of the final score allocated to each candidate. 25% of the score will be allocated based on the presentation of the candidature during the Candidates Reception organised by CEV and hosted by the Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the European Union on 20 November 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.
