About the project
The Community Urban Farming Lifestyles (CUFL) project involves 40 European Solidarity Corps volunteers from 4 European countries in 4 different activities that engage with other young people interested in improving and increasing their healthy lifestyles through urban farming/ gardening. The COVID19 pandemic has adversely affected the mental and physical health of young people, especially through increasingly sedentary lifestyles and poorer nutrition brought on in part by the supply chain and inflation issues caused by the pandemic and subsequent war in Ukraine.
The CUFL project implements activities that tackle prevention, promotion, and support in the field of physical and mental health. This project addresses and improves the health of especially vulnerable young people including refugees from Ukraine. There is also an additional benefit to the mental and physical health of the volunteers themselves. Through making our urban spaces more pleasant, green and sustainable, the project promotes health, healthy lifestyle, physical activity, and well-being overall.
Calling young people interested in improving and increasing their healthy lifestyles through urban farming/ gardening!

Young people between 18-30 years old from EVCCC’s countries Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland can take part in this volunteering experience focusing inin improving and increasing their healthy lifestyles through urban farming/ gardening.
