About the project

BEAM - Building Engagement and Access for Many aims to develop and expand the building bridges community model to enhance social inclusion, remove participation barriers, build stronger, more engaged communities. ​

The specific objectives of the project are to:

• Raising awareness of inclusive communities’ role in preventing loneliness by promoting successful bridge-building practices across Europe.

• Strengthening competences of volunteer centres, CSOs, local actors to support sustainable social inclusion models.

• Identifying and addressing participation barriers for at-risk individuals by providing tailored support within community settings.

• Empowering community guides to assist individuals in integrating into communities and promoting civic engagement.

• Fostering cross-sector collaboration between volunteer centres, municipalities, CSOs to develop sustainable inclusion strategies.

• Advocating for policy recognition of the BBModel at all levels to embed inclusive strategies into social policies and funding mechanisms.
