About the project

BEAM - Building Engagement and Access for Many aims to develop and expand the building bridges community model to enhance social inclusion, remove participation barriers, build stronger, more engaged communities. 

The specific objectives of the project are to:

  • Raising awareness of inclusive communities’ role in preventing loneliness by promoting successful bridge-building practices across Europe.

  • Strengthening competences of volunteer centres, CSOs, local actors to support sustainable social inclusion models.

  • Identifying and addressing participation barriers for at-risk individuals by providing tailored support within community settings.

  • Empowering community guides to assist individuals in integrating into communities and promoting civic engagement.

  • Fostering cross-sector collaboration between volunteer centres, municipalities, CSOs to develop sustainable inclusion strategies.

  • Advocating for policy recognition of the BBModel at all levels to embed inclusive strategies into social policies and funding mechanisms.
